Gridview rowupdating event in asp net c blackberry dating site
Hi All, I am Vasudev, Presently I am stuck with an issue with Gridview. I have few Databound fields namely [Name, Age, Gender] 2. Sub Load Results() Try ' UAT 3 sogy CHECKING l OGIN EXPIRY PUT SESSION VALUE TO A HIIDEN VARIABLE ' Dim ds As New Data Set str_Query = " SELECT DISTINCT HQQP.
I have made the Databound fields as Read Only as they should not be Editable. I have few Template fields, After clicking Edit User is supposed to Enter the values for Correct and Incorrect Answers Manually. Depending on The Entries Entered in the Columns remaining columns [Correct and Incorrect] The values [ Un Attended, Result should be calculated automatically] 5.
Would you please provided more detailed description about you problem with complete code?
Following is a working sample I used to test, it works well.
before that i want just using Find control and casting and then retrieving all lot code. If values are same they could notify user to change the value(give new cell value).
Every one can use it to compare the new value with old ones.
For example: if the value of the description was "Hello how are you" and then the users hits Edit and changes this value to " am fine", in the C# file, the value obtained in the string description is still "Hello how are you". Now I moved this binding after querying module into the (! Is Post Back and click edit on the grid I no longer see the grid.
all of the other events are firing except the Row Updating event..
This enables you to provide an event-handling method that performs a custom routine, such as checking the results of the update operation, whenever this event occurs.
A Grid View Updated Event Args object is passed to the event-handling method, which enables you to determine the number of rows affected and any exceptions that might have occurred.
it is also binded in code behind to s data table (generated on the fly) .
good day to all, i'm also having the problem of the Grid View1_Row Updating event not firing... the gridview is inside an update panel and the columns are generated in code behind...You could take a look: protected void Page_Load(object sender, Event Args e) protected void Bind Data() protected void btn Only_Click(object sender, Image Click Event Args e) protected void Grid View1_Row Editing(object sender, Grid View Edit Event Args e) MSDN Community Support Please remember to click "Mark as Answer" the responses that resolved your issue.
