The cut-off date for processing applications for academic year 2019/2020 is 31 March 2020. Individual enquiries cause delay in processing awards; if possible, you should avoid contacting the Education Business Unit about the progress of your application.

If your date of birth falls between 26th August 2001 and 28th February 2004 you may be eligible for will be paid every two weeks in arrears into your bank account, providing that you meet the terms and conditions of a Learning Agreement to be signed at the start of your course.

While payments may be delayed until later in the school year, approved applications will be backdated to the start of the term if they are received by 30 September 2019 (for those eligible for the full year award) or by 29 February 2020 (for those eligible from January 2020).

If the application is received after the deadline, the award will only be made from the week it is received, provided that the attendance criteria have been met.
